Welcome to our New Website!
Thursday, April 30th, 2009Welcome to our new website! I’m quite excited. Are you surprised? That was my wish!
We’ve been announcing our new check-in software, but nothing about our fabulous new site. It was built by Kenneth Feldman at KPFdigital.com — he is not only professional, reliable and responsible, but brilliant.
Just two months after our fifth year anniversary, this new site heralds a whole new era for Bodhisattva Yoga. Coinciding with the unveiling of the new website is our use of an online software program that enables you to register for classes, buy class series, get Gift Certificates, et cetera, online. In keeping with this new era of Bodhisattva Yoga, we are now asking you to pre-register for your classes online. If you decide to take class last minute, that’s ok, but we may not have room for you. :)
This has all been quite a roller-coaster. Getting a new (secret) website going and learning/utilizing a new software package has been tough. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes that consumes hours, nay days worth of time. Managing all of this while juggling a practice, studies, studio administration, teaching, going back to school – did someone say, a life? – has been quite a rewarding challenge and an accomplishment. Now, more than ever, when students tell me they’re too busy for practice, I understand. But, again, I’ve now shown that it can be done! :) On a gusty day, you can hear flags flap in the wind. Now, I want to hear your capes!
If you’re new to Bodhisattva Yoga, welcome. There’s something here for almost everyone – except perhaps, mean people. If it’s been some time since we’ve seen you, you’ve been missed and are hereby requested at the next scheduled class. Should you be among those excellent beings that have been consistently with us all along, I praise & thank you.
Please, offer any (constructive) thoughts &/or feedback that would help me help you in your practice here at Bodhisattva Yoga.
Cheers,
Vivekan
