Yogic Immersion/Teacher Training Program

We’re excited to announce Bodhisattva Yoga’s 250-hr. Level I Teacher Training program, beginning the first weekend of March 2012. This is an opportunity for a complete yogic immersion &/or the chance to become a certified teacher — and maybe part of the Bodhisattva Yoga team. The training/immersion program will be under the knowledgeable and caring guidance of Bodhisattva Yoga Founder Vivekan and Co-Director Jess, and will be a Yoga Alliance recognized training program.

Bodhisattva Yoga’s Awaken Your Inner Warrior yogic immersion/teacher training program offers a foundation in:

• Asana (yogic posture, form and sequencing)
  
• Yogic Anatomy (human biology and chakra system)
  
• Pranayama (breath-work)
  
• Meditation (in-motion and seated)
  
• Indian Yogic and Buddhist philosophy
• Yogic diet and western fitness, nutrition and metabolic information
• Kriyas (Yogic cleansing practices)
• Chanting & Mantras
• Sanskrit terminology
• The business of yoga and opportunities with Bodhisattva Yoga
• Prenatal yoga

The curriculum will deepen all participants’ practice career and engender an ability to teach and lead class at the Kshanti (Basics Flow I) and Virya (Basics Flow II) levels. In addition to obtaining effective teaching methods, trainees often experience positive transformation, in their practice and life, through Bodhisattva Yoga’s philosophical underpinnings — primarily the spirit of altruism and non-harm.

Days of Program Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays

2012 Start and End Dates of Program:
Begins weekend of March 3 and completes weekend of June 2 (Exam & qualifying class)
(Meet each weekend except Memorial Day weekend: May 26)
Meditation retreat weekend: Sat, June 9, 8:30am – 10:30am & 4pm – 6pm; Sun, June 10, 8:30am – 10:30am
Graduation party! Sunday, June 10 @ 2:30pm

Times of Meetings:
Saturday: 8-10:45am, 4-6pm
Sunday: 8-10:45am, 2:30-5pm

Application Fee: $25 (Fee applies toward tuition upon satisfactory application completion and  acceptance.)

Cost of Program (& Options):
$3250, if paid in full by December 15, 2011;
$3450, if paid in full by January 15, 2012;
$3575, if paid in full by February 10, 2012; and,
$3875, Payment Plan:
$1800, minimum payment by January 15, 2012,
For Bodhisattva Yoga Teacher Training certification eligibility, paid in full by May 12, 2012

10% off Class Passes/Series during program (good standing);
10% off all retreats leading up to and offered during program (Bodhisattva Yoga’s 2012 Winter/Summer retreats. Not valid with other offers.)

Graduation eligibility is upon completion of all requirements and payments, and at Vivekan and Jess’ discretion.
Program books (approx. $60) not included; list to be announced upon acceptance, before start date.

This will be a Yoga Alliance recognized program — exceeded by 50 hours!
